Several fewer days to go.

Well my friends, its been a few days,
This post covers some of day 15-18
thats Saturday-Tuesday
The next few days will be more pictures than writing. Its been nuts. but so fun.

Friday day 14 was the last post I had for you. WHAT A WHIRLWIND!

We got the email asking Michael to come in for an interview to the Orlando Magic NBA team for an internship position. Do the math. this is was Thursday, we had to book flights to get into Orlando before Monday, so the only nonstop we could find were red-eyes so we bought two tickets for Saturday night. We BOOKED them and basically scrambled all day trying to plan a fast trip to Orlando, getting a handicap accessible van, hotel, airline, reschedule the Dogs time at the boarding place, getting Michael a suit to wear to his interview. So many details!!!! AND try to spend some time with our parents.

We had planned a small, family graduation party for my nephews, brother, and Michael for graduation on Friday. Since we were going to be leaving the next day we decided to invite a few more people we might not get to see other wise. Michael had emailed the Magic back confirming his interview on Monday and asked what time they would like to meet. Right before the party Michael gets a phone call from them, it was not THIS Monday they wanted to meet, but NEXT Monday. And as long as they had to change the day, could he come in NEXT Thursday instead of Monday? We were so happy to get to stay for our entire planned trip. The only problem now is to cancel all the reservations we had JUST made the day before to make the trip. Oh well :)

It really spun us. We were just starting to relax into our vacation with family, then found out we would have to leave, then just as we had wrapped our heads around that we find out we aren't leaving after all and will stay after all. I had all or meals (home cooking) planned and food purchased, plans for the week, and really had everything organized to my personal satisfaction but for whatever reason I just lost my mojo with all the canceling/rescheduling/scheduling. Even as I write this I know I have to leave tomorrow, and I don't even know when. I know when our ORIGINAL flight left, but I don't know whats going on now. I do know that IF Michael does get that job it starts in florida in three weeks. We would have to find a place, and move ourselves, two cars, and a cranky dog. OY!

We did so much and yet, really stayed close to home. We spent a lot of time just with our parents. We only ate out a couple times. Once with my parents, once with his.
(and maybe once to In 'n Out just us at midnight...)

Oh, and once with my friend and her fella as they are moving and I don't know when we will see them again. (BOO! I HATE THAT!)

Even still we stayed home, didn't go to the City, (thats San Francisco for all you non- Bay Area folks) we didn't go to Monterey, we stayed in the house, and yard and went to target to get legos for the nephews. Having said all that, we were up early every day, and didn't even get INTO bed before 1 am every night.

We brought our Bible and devotional and didn't open either one. and to be honest our food resolve didn't fair much better. At one point I was literally sitting on the floor crying because I had eaten a salad that had crasins in it and I knew it had too many carbs! haha! (as I say we did not sleep enough) Michael got his burger fix and I stayed BASICALLY good till the last meal out. I ordered a chicken dish and instead of rice I got vegetables, and a salad. I went online after I ate that night and found out that EVEN WITHOUT the rice my dinner was more calories than I was supposed to eat all day and more carbs than I should have eaten in 3 FRICKIN DAYS! Way to go Cheesecake Factory. Way to kill my diet. I really THOUGHT I had been doing well with what I ordered. BUT ALAS not so much.

When you try to be good and you try to make correct choices and you mess up SO ROYALLY when you thought you were being good, it can mess with your head. SO today I knew that last night had messed me up so I kinda went off the deep end a bit. I had some Doritos and a cupcake with frosting and sprinkles from the fridge left over from the graduation party. It might not seem like a lot in the grand scheme of things, but for me its both releasing, and super frustrating. I bared my sole to Michael and he just smiled and told me that he knew id get back on track as soon as we get home. That made me feel good that he wasn't on my case. He is sure wonderful! Since I am being honest on here I thought I should tell you all too. Well, now you know.

We came home, stopped devotions, ate junk food, didn't sleep, and now are leaving again. SO heres to normal daily life and schedule back in Virginia. (for however long it lasts)
