Today is day 10
Sunday- Media fast
Today was a very quiet day. honestly we didn't get out of bed till way late and decided to go to our favorite Chipotle for dinner.
Normally we would plan the food for the week today and go shopping, but we have a surprise this week. We won't be home and so were not going to be getting food for home today.
We came home and all we did was watch some tv and eat.
The devotional for day 9 in the book was about when God doesn't seem to be with you. The Dwarfs and Hobbit got into trouble and were upset to find that their "geanie" Gandalf wasn't there. They grumbled and muttered that the Wizard was gone. How could he have abandoned them when they needed him! Why were they being forced to endure hardships! Isn't that why he came with them in the first place? To HELP them? Gandalf came back at the 11th hour and imminent saved them all from imminent death. Even when God seems to be missing, he is still there and will always be with us. He promises us that.
