Christmas was nice. It was so good to be home! It wasn’t
enough time. I wished we could have stayed for a month, but I didn’t like
leaving the Pup. We were gone for thanksgiving, Christmas, we would be gone
again in January, and I didn’t feel good leaving her any longer.

she was rolling around like a goof :)
Then when Grandmommy took her to the dog park
Before we left
for California we decorated (I should say my mom helped me decorate, I was
still to weak to do it) We decorated for Christmas.

The front porch. Got the wreath on Etsy.
We had so many people approach us to THANK US for our
lighting display! They said it made them feel Christmasy, and have more
Christmas Spirit. I felt so good! We had people even knock on our door to tell
us how much they liked them!

We added the color lights to the posts on the sides around the garland.
We had one neighbor, a single mom, tell us that
she was having a rough year and wouldn’t be able to give her boys the kind of
Christmas that she wanted, but seeing our lights in the morning when she got up
for work, while its still dark (we had them on a dusk-dawn timer) and saw our
lights it made her have hope and feel like it was still going to be a good
Christmas. I was flabbergasted and so touched!
When we got back from California we had a flyer on our front
door. We had won the complex’s Christmas spirit and lights display contest! HOW
EXCITING!!!!
